This has been a bad year for boardgame conventions, but today Friedhelm Merz Verlag GmbH have finally made the long expected announcement that the 2020 edition of Internationale Spieltage in Essen has fallen to Covid-19.  The next SPIEL will now be 14^th to 17^th of October 2021.
