A free evening of “continental board and card games” is being held monthly at the Pump House on Swan Lane.  The Pump House Project is a community project based in the old theatre in Faringdon, providing a variety of low cost activities for all ages and abilities in the locale.  Amongst other things, it is the first designated Parkour centre in Oxfordshire and has a set of specially designed Parkour equipment, one of the first sets of this kind in the country.  The games evenings will be much more sedentary, however, and are family friendly (children are very welcome so long as they are accompanied by an adult).  The next one is this Friday, 13^th May, from 6.30pm until 9pm and free refreshments will be available.
